In this day and age of being nickel'd and dime'd to death by government, it's always heartening to see something that's still free.
In British Columbia, every resident is allowed to cut up to three Christmas trees, from Crown land, free of charge. There is a permit you need to print and sign, and some spots where you're not allowed to take a tree, but it's free.
Could be a fun holiday adventure for you and yours!
To get the permit and for more details, visit the BC Government's web page HERE.
